Experimenting with horseradish in nasal spray can be an explosive experience.
Read this article and learn how to do or maybe how not to do!
🌿 Philosophical note
It’s almost like taming lightning: horseradish is fierce and explosive, but in small doses it can become part of a harmonious whole. My own method with aloe vera and mint is like building a “protective shield” around the force, so that it can be used without harm.
I have been working with homemade herbal mixtures for both cooking and health for a long time. One of my latest ideas is to try horseradish juice in a nasal spray. Horseradish is known for its explosive strength and its expectorant properties, but it can also irritate if used too concentrated. That’s why I have chosen a cautious approach.
My method is simple:
I first make a basic mixture of aloe vera, distilled water, sea salt, rosemary and Japanese mint oil. This mixture is mild and soothing to the mucous membranes. Then I add just one drop of horseradish juice to the entire bottle, test the effect, and gradually adjust. This way I can find the right balance between strength and gentleness.
It is important to emphasize that there are no scientific studies that prove the effect of horseradish in nasal spray. My work is experimental and based on curiosity and only my personal experience. I see it as a way to explore the potential of nature - with respect for both its power and our own bodies.
🌱 Why my mixture may work
• Aloe vera: Has a soothing and moisturizing effect on mucous membranes, so it can dampen the sharpness that horseradish would otherwise give.
• Sea salt: Helps cleanse and keep the nasal passages moist.
• Rosemary & Japanese mint oil: Both have a fresh, antiseptic and opening effect on the respiratory tract.
• Distilled water: Provides a neutral base, so everything is mild and safely diluted.
• Horseradish: In very small amounts (drops) it can add a powerful but short-term “cleansing” effect in the sinuses.
So, before you begin to make your own nasal spray with horseradish, then go back to the top of this article and read again, as extracts from these plants are very strong and explosive.
The recipe is:
1 spray bottle 40 ml.
20 ml. purified fresh aloe vera
10 ml. distilled water
5 ml. rosemary extract
5 ml. crushed Himalayan salt
1 drop of Japanese mint oil
1 drop of horseradish juice. (be careful and do not drip more in the bottle)
If you need more than one spray bottle, then keep one in the fridge, and the rest in the freezer as there are no additives in the description. It has to be clean and 100% organic, so no chemicals. Be careful and enjoy your life with clean airways.
